Kickoff of the STAIRS project

As part of the Grand Défi Robotique Agricole, the STAIRS project was launched on May 21st in Paris. Coordinated by the TSCF unit in collaboration with RobAgri, it aims to develop tools and methods for open and responsible agricultural robotics.

The launch seminar for the STAIRS project (Structuring Technical Action for Interoperability and Sustainable Robotics) took place on May 21, 2025, in Paris. Around twenty participants from research, industry, and sector organizations attended.

After a morning of presentations, discussions continued in the form of collaborative workshops. Three main themes structured the discussions:

  • The environmental evaluation of robotic solutions in agriculture,
  • The interoperability of systems to promote better integration of technologies,
  • The implementation of shared development tools to support sector stakeholders.

The STAIRS project fully aligns with the objectives of the Grand Défi Robotique Agricole, contributing to the establishment of an open and sustainable ecosystem to support agricultural transitions.
